Guiding theme of AGRITECHNICA and SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS 2025

Touch Smart Efficiency

SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS 2025 will be showcasing the new possibilities of artificial intelligence and digitalisation in the off-highway sector under the key theme of "Touch smart Efficiency". For example, completely new operating concepts for mobile machinery can be realised using joystick control, touchscreens and the networking of all machine components. By integrating real-time weather data, individual presettings and order management, the cockpit becomes the command centre for cost-effective use in the construction industry, agriculture, forestry and mining.

The energy-efficient design of work processes and the automation and autonomisation of machine functions are becoming increasingly important for construction and agricultural machinery. Detailed knowledge of work processes and functions as well as their interaction is increasingly being incorporated into the development of new drive concepts and technologies for machines and tools. In this way, high-quality work results are achieved while maximising the conservation of resources. The remote diagnosis of faults and their rectification make mobile machinery more efficient and productive. In addition, modern off-highway vehicles continuously collect and analyse data. In terms of predictive maintenance, this allows necessary maintenance to be planned as required, sources of faults to be identified and rectified in good time in order to avoid expensive downtime.

The next development stage of semi-autonomous construction and agricultural machinery is also already on the advance at SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS 2025. Thanks to augmented reality (AR), digital terrain models can be integrated into the real situation on site with high precision and realism in combination with GNSS receivers. In all of these developments, the robustness and reliability of the motors are paramount. However, lightweight construction aspects are also increasingly becoming the focus of developments. Additive manufacturing, which was used almost exclusively for the production of prototypes just a few years ago, has become a key technology for developing fuel-efficient and electrified powertrains. Efficiency, resource conservation and service life play an important role here. From clean Stage V diesel engines to production-ready applications of hybridised and fully electric powertrains: At the exhibition grounds in Hanover, original equipment manufacturers, developers and engineers from the off-highway sectors can select the optimum combination of conventional and electric components for their application.
